UK-listed Charles Stanley has opened a new office in Leicester, headed up by branch manager Ed Cufflin.

The twenty-strong team is mostly made up of ex-Brewin Dolphin staff and includes senior investment managers David Coulson, Chris Hailes, Andrew Baker and Simon Hopewell, Charles Stanley said in a statement.

The new team also includes regional intermediary sales manager Adrian Sawyer and Christopher Stothard, formerly head of financial planning at Vestra Wealth.

Charles Stanley said that over the coming months the team will fully integrate with Charles Stanley and begin the process of bringing on-board new private clients and engaging with their extensive network of intermediaries, accountants, solicitors, charities and trusts.

"Joining Charles Stanley is the perfect fit for our established private clients and our intermediary clients alike. We thought long and hard about where would be best for our clients in the post-Retail Distribution Review era and how we could best support the growing needs of our clients over the coming years," said Cufflin.
