Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Savills IM, Etops, Thriving Investments

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, and other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Savills
Investment Management, a global real estate investment
manager, has appointed Alex Griffiths (pictured) as global head
of client capital.
Griffiths will be responsible for leading Savills IM's global capital raising and investor relations activities, overseeing the firm's client capital strategy and driving business growth across international markets.
Previously, Griffiths was managing director and head of investor relations at AEW Europe. She spent almost 13 years at the firm, leading on capital raising and client relationship management, project management and investor servicing, and marketing and communications functions. During her tenure, over €30 billion ($34.38 billion) of capital was raised for funds, separate accounts, co-investments, and joint ventures.

Etops
Etops, a pan-European
provider of wealth and asset management technology, has appointed
Frank Gräsner as senior director, strategic accounts wealth
management and Helen Schönfelder as senior sales manager wealth
management. Both will serve German clients from private
banks and wealth managers to family offices.
Gräsner will be responsible for leading the strategic accounts and partners in Germany, the larger banks and wealth management firms for which the Etops platform “becomes essential infrastructure,” the firm said in a statement. He brings more than 25 years of experience in financial services and wealth management, most recently at Finaplus. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at SIX Financial Information, DZ BANK, ARIVA, and Cleversoft, each focused on the German and Swiss markets, and from 2019 to 2025 Gräsner ran his own advisory firm, Financial Partners GmbH.
Schönfelder will work with independent wealth managers, family offices, and private banks throughout Germany. Previously, she was with Infront, where she was sales manager for financial market data and trading solutions in the German-speaking market. Schönfelder brings a network among German wealth managers together with a grasp of front-office data and workflow requirements.

Investments, a socially-conscious fund manager, has made two
new senior appointments.
Starting in September, Lydia Merry is taking on the newly-created director of investor relations and product role. Drawing on her 15 years’ experience in investment management, Merry will be responsible for expanding the funds on offer, bringing in new business and helping the organisation meet the ambition of 20,000 new homes under management by 2034. Working across all funds, Merry will develop investment solutions that address a range of housing needs while delivering positive outcomes for residents, communities and investors, supporting the wider Places for People Group’s ambition of delivering £1 billion ($1.34 billion) of social value in the next few years.
Merry’s previous roles include Frogmore Real Estate Partners, CBRE Investment Management, Amundi and ANZ. She has worked across the full investor lifecycle, including product development, fundraising, investor relations and reporting. Most recently, she was at Schroders, where she supported two real estate impact funds and helped shape the firm's impact investing approach across real estate strategies.
Annemarie Roberts will join in October as managing director of ReSI Homes, the for-profit registered provider owned by ReSI LP. Roberts will lead ReSI Homes through its next phase of growth, with responsibility for operations, customer service and regulatory performance as the organisation continues to expand its housing portfolio. Roberts is a chartered member of the CIH and holds an MBA from the University of Bath. She has previously served as a trustee for Crawley Open House, a homelessness charity, and her sector-leading customer service transformation programmes received national recognition by the Institute of Customer Service.
