Citi Private Bank Hires Two Former Barclays Wealth Bankers In California

The Citi Private Bank Palo Alto office has made two hires from Barclays Wealth, according to media reports.

Bryon Botsford has joined as a private banker, having previously spent ten years with US Trust and 13 at Wells Fargo.

Thomas Arrington joins as an investment counselor, having worked with ultra high net worth clients at Barclays Wealth. He also spent several years as a senior portfolio manager with US Trust.

Citi Private Bank has made a number of recent appointments. On the east coast, it has added to its New York executive lineup with the recent appointment of Charles Merrill as managing director and New York regional executive.
