The offshore law firm operates from a range of jurisdictions.

Offshore law firm Harneys has appointed Carolynn Vivian as its Cayman Islands’ office managing partner and Richard Reid as chief people officer, based in London.

The appointments are effective 1 April 2024. A few weeks ago, Vivian's promotion to partner was announced here.

Vivian will be taking over the role from Nick Hoffman, who will now focus on his new role as global head of litigation, insolvency, and restructuring. She has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on all aspects of corporate and regulatory law across numerous jurisdictions, including mergers and acquisitions, finance, restructuring, and licensing.

Reid (pictured below) joined the firm in 2022.

In addition to these two appointments, the firm promoted Andrea Moundi Savvides to global director of risk and compliance in December last year. In January, Hoffman was appointed to his aforementioned role; Claire Goldstein and Christopher Pease were announced as co-heads of BVI Litigation; and Jonathan Addo was appointed global head of contentious regulatory.
