In its initial stages, the RFO Foundation will concentrate on education, talent development and knowledge exchange.
Raffles
Family Office yesterday said that it had launched the Raffles
Family Office Foundation, an entity that puts RFO’s philanthropic
activities under a single platform.
An opening ceremony for the foundation was held at RFO’s new
Singapore office today.
At this stage, the foundation will focus on education, talent
development, and knowledge exchange.
“We are immensely proud to introduce the RFO Foundation, which
formalises and gives greater purpose to the work we have been
doing over the years. We look forward to continuing to grow
alongside and contribute to our communities,” Chi Man Kwan, group
CEO, said
In Hong Kong, RFO has pledged a 10-year “HKU Business School –
Raffles Family Office Future Leader Scholarship” with the
Business School of the University of Hong Kong from 2022. The
award is aimed at supporting students in their academic pursuit,
helping them unleash their full potential and contribute
meaningfully to the society.
In Singapore, Lee Wei Song Music Academy was among the first to
benefit from the RFO Foundation’s scholarship programmes. Through
“The Resonance Initiative,” the foundation supports a
“Learning-Creation-Giving Back” loop that empowers young artists
to create original music for social causes.
More programmes will be announced in due course.
