Milltrust's New MFO Recruits Singapore-Based MD, Continues Expansion
The organisation, which was launched in 2023, is designed to tap into the burgeoning wealth of Singapore and other locations.
East West Private Wealth (EWPW), the recently-formed
multi-family office launched by Milltrust
International, has appointed former senior bank figure Edward
Higgins as managing director. He is based in Singapore.
Higgins has an 18-year career in private banking, working at
Morgan
Stanley, Credit Suisse, and
Julius
Baer.
EWPW offers investment opportunities including venture capital,
liquid public equity funds, and direct impact-driven
co-investments, in addition to real assets investments. The MFO
uses Milltrust International’s internal asset management
capabilities, such as the British Innovation Fund II, the Climate
Impact Asia Fund, and the Global Emerging Markets Fund, along
with its suite of emerging market public equity country funds,
venture funds and real assets. EWPW has a presence in Geneva,
Monaco and the United Arab Emirates in addition to its London and
Singapore offices.
Last year, the multi-family office appointed Gary Dugan as chief
investment officer. Dugan has worked in Europe, the Middle East
and Asia, holding CIO positions at Barclays Private Bank, Emirate
NBD and Coutts, and senior roles at Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan,
before founding the Global CIO Office. In Singapore, Milltrust
director and veteran fund manager, Dennis See leads EWPW’s
affiliate, First Estate Capital Management.
