UK's Evelyn Partners Expands Via Another Acquisition
The UK wealth management, accountancy and professional services firm has pushed further into Kent with this deal.
UK firm Evelyn Partners has acquired Creaseys Group, an accountancy and tax specialist firm in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, it announced last week.
The acquisition, the financial terms of which were not
disclosed, is part of Evelyn Partners’ strategy of augmenting
strong organic growth in its professional services business with
selective purchases of firms that fit its desire to boost the
regional presence, it said.
Established over 150 years ago, the team of over 50 at Creaseys
offers a range of assurance, advisory and tax services to both
businesses and individuals, with a particular expertise in
advising private equity executives on their tax affairs.
In February 2023 Evelyn Partners acquired Leathers LLP which
operates from offices in Newcastle and Harrogate and in April it
acquired Cambridge-based firm the Ashcroft Partnership LLP.
“Terry Shephard and his colleagues have developed a highly
respected and forward-thinking firm which fits well with Evelyn
Partners both in terms of expertise, culture, and the types of
clients they advise,” Andrew Wilkes, chief professional services
director of Evelyn Partners, said of the latest deal.
As part of this strategy, in February Evelyn Partners acquired
Leathers LLP which operates from offices in Newcastle and
Harrogate and in April it acquired Cambridge-based firm the
Ashcroft Partnership LLP.
