Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Wells Fargo, HSBC Global AM

The latest moves in wealth management across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

  Wells
  Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) has appointed Peter Weidner as
  head of factor solutions and Mark Brandreth as a senior portfolio
  manager within the multi-asset solutions team.
  
  Both will be based in London, and both join the firm from the
  Schroders multi-asset team.
  
  In their new roles, Weidner and Brandreth will focus on designing
  solutions with a specific emphasis on portfolio construction.
  Weidner and Brandreth will report to Dan Morris, global head of
  portfolio solutions.
  
  At Schroders, Weidner was head of the advanced beta group and
  managed a range of systematic investment strategies across asset
  classes. 
  
  As head of portfolio construction and trading systems at
  Schroders, Brandreth developed a pan-asset-class portfolio
  management and trading system for the multi-asset team. Prior to
  joining Schroders, he was with BlackRock as a managing director
  in the scientific equities group.
  
  HSBC Global Asset Management
  HSBC
  Global Asset Management has appointed Fredrik
  Cygnaeus as managing director of its branch in Sweden.
  
  He will be responsible for further
  expanding HSBC Global Asset Management’s client-centric
  business across the Nordic region, together with sales manager
  Kim Lindberg.
  
  Cygnaeus joins from Invesco, where he led the external wholesale
  business in the Nordic Region. Prior to that, he spent eight
  years at Fidelity in Stockholm.
