JP Morgan AM Appoints New CEO Of EMEA Business
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
JP Morgan
Asset Management has appointed Patrick Thomson as chief
executive of Europe, Middle East and Africa,
WealthBriefing understands.
Thomson, who will retain his responsibilities as
international head of institutional clients, will
replace Mike O'Brien, who is relocating to New York to
focus on his other duties as co-head of asset management
solutions, in the role.
The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
O'Brien will continue to act as CEO and will oversee the region
as Thomson's appointment is finalised and to ensure a
seamless transition.
This publication
reported in December that the asset management arms of Banco
Santander and JP Morgan inked a partnership deal in Brazil.
