Brothers Asset Management has appointed Eileen O’Rourke as
its investment director in a bid to strengthen its high net worth
service, the UK-headquartered firm said this week.
O’Rourke joins after spending 23 years with independently-owned
Brewin Dolphin. Working with its investment management team as
divisional director, O’Rourke looked after multi-asset portfolios
for high net worth individuals, trusts and charities.
At Close Brothers Asset Management, O’Rourke will provide
tailored fund management services to high net worth clients,
running portfolios that include taxable investment accounts,
ISAs, self-invested personal pensions and offshore bonds.
“Eileen joins Close Brothers Asset Management at a time of strong
growth for our business. Her experience and skill set will be a
welcome addition to our award-winning investment team, as we
service our growing client base of high net worth individuals,
trusts and charities,” said Nancy Curtin, chief investment
officer at the firm.
Operating throughout the UK, Close Brothers Asset Management
provides a full range of advice and investment management
services to private clients and professional advisors.
The firm's latest hire comes after
it bolstered relationships with intermediaries in the South
West.
The firm is part of Close Brothers, a UK merchant banking group
that is a member of the FTSE 250.
