Adam & Co. Hires Two New Office Heads

Adam & Company, the Scottish private bank, has appointed
Alisdair Dewar as head of the Edinburgh office
and Ian Massie as head of the Aberdeen
unit.
The pair will assume responsibility for the day-to-day
running of the two office locations immediately and will report
to Kerry
Falconer, managing director of relationship management.
Dewar joined Adam & Company in 1999, becoming a director
in 2009 and managing a diverse portfolio of private clients, as
well as leading
a team of relationship managers. Prior to this, he spent two
years with RBS.
Massie joined Adam in 2011 as an associate director to
manage private client portfolios across Aberdeenshire. Prior to
this, he served
with Bank of Scotland Corporate Real Estate as a relationship
manager with a
focus on high-net-worth residential and commercial property
clients. Massie
also spent 27 years working in a variety of roles within HBOS,
latterly as a
senior relationship manager.
Adam & Company is a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland, as
well as a sister-company to Coutts,
and is headquartered in Edinburgh.
As of October 2013, the firm has over £1.25 billion ($2.03
billion) of private
client funds under management.
