Brewin Dolphin Names Divisional Director In London

Brewin Dolphin has seen the return of Sylvia Bowen after a six-year stint at UBS Wealth Management.
Bowen, who has been named divisional director at Brewin’s London office, is joined by her assistant Pascual Rykaart.
Bowen began her career at Brewin in 1992, first serving as a junior assistant before going on to manage client portfolios out of the firm’s Malborough office as an investment manager. She left Brewin in 2005 to join UBS Wealth Management’s London office, where she managed some £110 million ($179 million) in client money.
Earlier this month Brewin beefed up its charities team with two new hires.
Ruth Murphy - latterly of Newton - was appointed to the newly-created post of head of charity business development, while Philip Young - formerly of UBS - joined as a divisional director of investment management.
Brewin reported that its income for the thirteen weeks to 26 June rose 10.7 per cent year-on-year to £68.1 million. Recurring income from investment management accounted for 60 per cent of total revenues.
