Morgan Stanley Expands Middle Eastern Team

Morgan Stanley has appointed Samer Al-Saifi as an executive director and investment advisor at its wealth management arm, WealthBriefing understands.

In his new role Mr Al-Saifi will be based in Dubai and cover the Middle East, with the task of further developing the firm’s offering to its clients there. He reports jointly to Ausaf Abbas, managing director and head of sales and marketing for private wealth management, EMEA, and Stephane Brown, managing director and chief operating officer, MENA. 

Mr Al-Saifi joins Morgan Stanley from Dubai International Capital, where he was chief executive officer of asset management, responsible for overall strategy. Prior to this, he was a senior vice president and regional head in the wealth management and private banking business of Arab Bank
