The latest moves in wealth management across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Schroders
Schroders has announced that fund manager Steve Cordell has decided to leave the firm to pursue opportunities outside of the industry.

He will remain with Schroders until the start of Q3 and will work closely with the team to ensure a smooth handover of his responsibilities. He spent 25 years as a fund manager, most recent at Schroders since 2013, and for a decade at Cazenove Capital.

Cordell’s fund management responsibilities will be divided across the equities team. James Sym and James Rutland will become co-managers of SISF European Opportunities fund.

Nicholette MacDonald-Brown and Stephen Shields will become co-managers of SISF European Equity Absolute Return fund and Bill Casey and Nick Kissack will become co-managers of SARFCO European Equity Absolute Return fund.
