AXA Investment Managers Re-Jigs Leadership After Departures

Two senior departures have prompted three appointments at AXA Investment Managers.
AXA Investment Managers has made three senior appointments at its real assets and Rosenberg Equities businesses.
Isabelle Scemama has been named as chief executive of real assets with immediate effect, while on 1 March Heidi Ridley and Kathleen Houssels will become CEO and global chief investment officer of the Rosenberg unit respectively.
Scemama replaces Pierre Vaquier, who is leaving the firm to pursue other interests, while Ridley and Houssels take the reins from Jeremy Baskin, who is leaving AXA IM.
In their new roles, both Scemama and Ridley will report to Andrea Rossi, CEO of AXA IM, with Houssels reporting to Ridley.
Scemama, who joined the firm in 2001, was previously CEO of AXA REIM SGP, the French entity of AXA IM (real assets).
Ridley was previously global chief operating officer and chief of staff at the Rosenberg business, a role she had held since 2011. Houssels served as head of research and investment models from 2012.
