James Hambro & Partners' Three-Year Growth Spurt Leads To Strong AuM Gains

James Hambro & Partners, the UK-based private client asset manager, has reported that its assets under management have increased by 74 per cent, to reach £1.2 billion, over the last three years, and have risen 311 per cent in the last 12 months.

Against the backdrop of the Retail Distribution Review reform package, James Hambro & Partners said it has attracted a large number of new clients, representing a mixture of private individuals and families, charities and trusts.

In October 2012, James Hambro merged with the high net worth financial planning firm Calkin Pattinson & Company, creating a new group combining financial planning with discretionary investment management. The combined businesses have added over 100 new clients in the last quarter alone, James Hambro said.
