Brewin Dolphin Adds Non-Exec Board Director

Brewin Dolphin, the UK-listed wealth manager, has appointed David Nicol - formerly of Morgan Stanley - as a non-executive board director, effective 1 March.
Nicol currently sits on the board of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and is a special advisor to KPMG, the international professional services firm.
In addition to his new role at Brewin, Nicol will also become a member of the audit committee, the firm said in a statement.
Nicol worked at Morgan Stanley for 26 years in a number of operations and finance roles. He was appointed as chief administrative officer for EMEA in 2004, at which point he also became a director of Morgan Stanley International, a role in which he served until 2010.
Between 2005 and 2011 he chaired the pension scheme, and was subsequently named chair of the audit committee in 2011.
In other recent news, Brewin named Tim Walker as the new head of its Exeter office last week.
