Nuveen Investments has appointed Oscar Isoba senior vice president and head of Latin American business development.

Isoba joins from AllianceBernstein, where he managed the Latin American business. His new role will see himself reporting to David Levi, managing director for global business development.

"Given the early successes and current momentum of our global efforts, we are looking to enhance our sales and service team in a strategic and measured way, so that we can continue to provide the highest quality services and expertise to our clients globally," Carl Katerndahl, executive vice president and head of distribution for Nuveen, said.

Nuveen at the close of the third quarter reported that it has exceeded $6 billion in assets under management. It also recently launched two UCITs designed to bring in interest from investors outside of the US: the Nuveen Tradewinds Global All Cap Fund ESG Fund and the Nuveen Tradewinds Global Opportunities Fund.
