Lloyds Banking Group Wealth Director Resigns

Jo Dawson, wealth and international director at Lloyds Banking Group, is leaving the group at the end of the month to pursue other opportunities, Lloyds has confirmed.

Ms Dawson established the division when the banking group was formed in January 2009 with Lloyds TSB’s takeover of HBOS. Following her departure the role will be taken on by Truett Tate, group executive director, wholesale, who will undertake it in addition to his current responsibilities.

In her prior career, Ms Dawson was appointed chief executive of HBOS’s insurance and investment division in March 2006 and joined the main HBOS board in May 2006. In August 2007 she was appointed chief executive of HBOS retail distribution, a role she undertook in addition to her insurance and investment position.
