Harneys Unveils Partner, Counsel Promotions
The firm's team, which works across the world, provides advice on the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Bermuda and Anguilla.
Harneys, the global offshore law firm, has made a round of promotions to partner and counsel level in its Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Hong Kong, and Shanghai offices.
All changes are effective 1 January, the firm said in a statement
yesterday.
Two new partners have been appointed: Carolynn Vivian (main
picture) in the Cayman Islands and Jessie Xu (below) in Shanghai.
Vivian, who has more than 20 years of experience, advises on
matters across numerous jurisdictions involving an array of
corporate law matters, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and
finance transactions, restructuring and licensing.
Xu advises clients on a variety of offshore corporate matters,
including mergers and acquisitions (private and public
offerings), initial public offerings, joint ventures, equity
financing, banking and financial affairs and group
reorganisations and restructurings.
Additionally, 10 lawyers have been promoted to counsel across the
firm's Cyprus, Hong Kong, and Shanghai offices:
Stephanie Havatzias (banking and finance, and corporate) in
Cyprus; Denise Chan (corporate); Oswald Kan (banking
and finance, and corporate and commercial); Natalie Lee
(litigation, insolvency, and restructuring); Lawrence Sham
(investment funds); Marina Tse (banking
and finance); Charles Wong (litigation, insolvency
and restructuring); Jacquelyn Wong (investment
funds); Sui Hung Yeung (litigation, insolvency and
restructuring) in Hong Kong, and Vivian Ma (litigation,
insolvency and restructuring) in Shanghai.
The firm provides advice on British Virgin Islands, Cayman
Islands, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Bermuda and Anguilla.
