Bedrock Names New Partners
Bedrock Group, a multi-family office based in London, Geneva and Monaco, announces two new partners.
Bedrock, the European wealth management house, has promoted Carlota van de Koppel and Raquel Santos Silva as partners, bringing the total number of partners to 10.
Santos Silva joined Bedrock's Wealth Management division in 2021 as director, responsible for ultra-high net worth clients in the UK and Portugal, the firm said in a statement. She began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and then Santander before earning an MBA from Columbia University. Prior to Bedrock, she worked for more than 12 years in wealth management at Goldman Sachs and Pictet in London, the firm added.
Van de Koppel joined Bedrock in 2016 and is now chief operating officer of the group. Prior to Bedrock, she led an online entrepreneurial venture in Madrid as well as working within the consulting and finance sectors in New York and London, the firm said.
Co-founded by managing partners, Ariel Arazi, Maurice Ephrati and David Joory in 2004, Bedrock is a privately owned multi-family office focusing on four core wealth management service pillars: investment management, private market investments, real estate investments, family office services.
The business has a global client base and SFr7 billion ($7.7 billion) in assets under management, looked after by its 70 employees. It benefits from a broad and robust network, giving access to exclusive investment opportunities, thought leaders, and a range of professional services providers, from custodian banks and trustees to lawyers.
“Since joining Bedrock in 2021, Raquel Santos Silva, our newest partner in the Wealth Management division, has been a driving force behind our expanding client base. She has advised affluent families and entrepreneurs in the development of sustainable asset allocation strategies, for both public and private investments,” Maurice Ephrati, managing partner at Bedrock Group, said.
“At 30 years old, Carlota has already imprinted her dynamic leadership as chief operating officer onto the core of our business, pushing boundaries and expanding Bedrock’s capabilities. Carlota’s strategic foresight and ability to navigate complex operational requirements have enabled us to go from strength to strength over the last seven years. With her visionary guidance, the non-financial needs of our clients are today better supported through comprehensive family governance services and a development programme to support the next generation of wealth holders,” Ephrati added.
