Julius Baer Forms New Geneva Team
With their backgrounds, experiences, and networks, the bank believes that the new personnel are well placed to extend and develop its services to local entrepreneurs, executives, and wealthy families in Geneva.
Bank Julius Baer is establishing a new team for local entrepreneurs and executives in Geneva to provide a dedicated offering tailored to these clients.
The team will be led by Adrien Genecand (pictured), who is due to start on 1 September 2023. Xavier Rival will join the team as a senior relationship manager and deputy team head on 1 October 2023, together with relationship managers Oceane Levamis and Alexis de Haynin, the firm said in a statement yesterday.
Genecand will be joining from UBS, where he started his career in 2002 and served in a variety of capacities, most recently as a senior client relationship manager for Swiss ultra-high net worth clients in Geneva. He is a Certified Wealth Management Advisor (CWMA). In addition, Genecand was elected to Geneva City Council, serving from 2007 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been an active member of the Geneva Parliament.
Xavier Rival has spent the last 16 years at UBS in Geneva as a client advisor for Swiss clients. Prior to that, he worked for JP Morgan in risk management functions and as a financial analyst at Banque de France.
Alexis de Haynin is also joining from UBS, where he was a relationship manager servicing lawyers, notaries, and fiduciaries clients for the last 10 years. Oceane Levamis, who has a strong background of advising clients and delivering tailored solutions, previously worked for Gonet and UBS.
“With their backgrounds, experiences, and networks, they are well placed to further extend and successfully develop our services to local entrepreneurs, executives, and wealthy families in Geneva. Following the launch of a real estate brokerage offering in the Geneva region in spring 2023, this is the next step in strengthening our local presence for the benefit of our clients,” Sacha Bodenehr, market head Geneva and branch manager Geneva, Julius Baer, said.
