Private wealth law firm, Boodle Hatfield, has promoted David Rawlence to partner, with effect from 1 May 2023.
Rawlence (pictured), who trained at the firm, qualified as a real estate lawyer at Boodle Hatfield in 2016. He has built a significant reputation as a go-to advisor for real estate acquisitions, disposals, financing and development as well as landlord and tenant work. Rawlence advises landed estates, property companies, family offices, developers, lenders, hotel owner operators and individuals. He also has a particular specialist niche in the serviced office sector, acting with both owners and operators.
Alongside David's promotion to partnership, the firm has also promoted Fred Clark, Katherine Worrall, Katie Male and Michael Duffy to senior associate. These promotions are indicative of the firm’s continued investment in future talent and the growth of its corporate, private client and tax, real estate and family teams.
Andrew Wilmot-Smith, head of Real Estate at Boodle Hatfield said: “I, together with the entire firm, would like to pass on our congratulations to David. The firm has been instrumental in the development of prime central London for the last 300 years and we will continue to play a significant role. David's promotion builds on our deep property experience, reinforcing our focus on the London and UK real estate market."
Andrea Zavos, senior partner elect at Boodle Hatfield added: "It is fantastic to see another trainee achieve partnership at Boodle Hatfield as we continue to focus on developing the exceptional talent within the firm who play a key role in the continued growth of our business. Our commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders at the firm is also reflected in our newly-promoted senior associates, especially as they also all trained at the firm. I look forward to working with them as they flourish in their new roles.”
