Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? - Farrer & Co, LGT Capital Partners

The latest moves and appointments in wealth management in the UK, the rest of Europe, Middle East and select international locations.

Farrer & Co
Farrer & Co has appointed Edward Floyd to join its family team and as a partner, taking the role from 6 December. He will be joining from Penningtons Manches Cooper, where he was a partner in the London office.

Advising a broad range of clients, including City professionals and entrepreneurs, Floyd is a specialist family lawyer. He advises on the full spectrum of family law including divorce and financial remedies, pre and post nuptial agreements and arrangements for the care of children. Much of his practice is international by nature with recent, key cases involving work with Russia, the US and Switzerland.

Floyd’s arrival follows Gerard Heyes’ appointment as a lateral partner hire in Farrer & Co’s Disputes team in May this year.

LGT Capital Partners
LGT Capital Partners has appointed Wael El Burji as managing director and senior executive officer to head and expand its presence in the Middle East.

Prior to his appointment, he worked at Amundi Asset Management as director overseeing the relationship with a range of Institutional investors and leading the third-party distribution business in the Middle East.
