He was also a co-founder of Global Risk Partners, an independent insurance broker that became part of the Brown & Brown Inc in 2022. Previously, he held senior legal, compliance, and governance positions in financial services across insurers and financial service intermediaries.
“The appointments of Rick and Andrew mark an important and exciting new chapter in Amber River’s journey. "Rick and Andrew bring extensive financial services experience, a growth mindset, and, more importantly, they understand the importance of building a business with a strong culture and a clear sense of purpose. We’re thrilled to welcome them to the Amber River family and look forward to working together as we continue to grow the business over the coming years.”
McIntyre added: “I’d like to thank Simon as a co-founder, colleague and friend for his amazing contribution to helping build Amber River into the business it is today. I am hugely grateful to have had him as a partner on this journey throughout the last seven years and wish him a very happy retirement.”
