Cazenove Capital
Cazenove Capital, which is part of the Schroders, has made three hires across its regional hubs and in London. Jennifer Crowley is joining Cazenove Capital in Birmingham, Lee Sweeting in Bristol, and James Bates in the capital.

As a portfolio director in Birmingham, Crowley will report to head of the Midlands, David Price. She spent the last decade at Coutts advising high net worth families and entrepreneurs in the Midlands and before that she served in private banking roles at Investec and Kleinwort Benson.

In Bristol, Sweeting is joining as a wealth planning director, reporting to head of South West, Robert Nye. Sweeting spent the last 14 years at Smith & Williamson and has previously worked with private clients, business owners and entrepreneurs, advising on investment structuring, tax efficiency, retirement and succession planning.

Bates is joining in London as an assistant portfolio manager, reporting to portfolio director and team manager Nicholas Sanderson. Bates brings client account management experience from consultancy roles, most recently at Deliveroo.

C Hoare & Co, the UK private bank, has appointed Carl Brian as a senior relationship manager in the Northeast of England. He will be reporting to Peter Gale, banking team leader.

Brian has more than 20 years of experience of managing customers across retail, private and commercial banking. Most recently, he was a senior RM in commercial and corporate banking at NatWest Group. Prior to this, he worked in various capacities including associate director, private banker and senior relationship manager under NatWest Group brands, including Coutts and NatWest Private Banking.

The appointment follows the naming in June of Simon King as a senior RM focused on Manchester and the Northwest.

Prior to Conning, he was an institutional sales associate at Aegon Asset Management and a senior investment analyst at Willis Towers Watson.

Walker has joined GAM from Calamos Investments, where he spent 11 years.
