Multrees Wins UK Wealth Client
The new client firm, which serves family offices, UHNW clients and retail clients, was founded in 2017.
Multrees
Investor Services, the UK-based firm, has been chosen by Omba
Advisory & Investments to provide custody and white labelled
platform/client reporting solutions to its family office,
ultra-high net worth and retail clients.
Omba, founded in 2017 and located in London, offers investment
management solutions through global actively-managed multi-asset
and equity exchange-traded fund portfolios and UCITS funds.
The partnership with Multrees will enable Omba to provide both UK
onshore and offshore custody solutions to its clients, Multrees
said in a statement.
“The open architecture of their platform will allow us to achieve
operational efficiencies through straight-through trade
processing and centralise custody to continue to achieve cost
savings for our current and future clients,” David Pierson, Omba
chief operating officer, said.
Multrees delivers outsourced investment services to wealth
managers, private banks, family offices and advisory
businesses. In November, Multrees won a client in the form
of UK-based Church House Investments (CHIM). In July, meanwhile,
Multrees named Glenn Murphy as chief operating officer. He joined
from Stonehage Fleming, the multi-family office, where he was the
COO. In June, Multrees appointed Elaine Clements to join the
board of directors.
