SIX, Finnova
SIX, the Swiss financial
data firm, has announced that DocHub, its regulatory document
hub, is now available to the wider Swiss market through Finnova, a firm providing
software and services in the Alpine state.
DocHub is an automated platform which connects product manufacturers with distributors to ensure that key information documents and other regulatory documents are available digitally, up-to-date and correct, and in clients' e-banking and core banking systems.
The arrangement enables more than 100 Swiss banks which use Finnova’s banking software to obtain the documents they need to comply with FinSA, the Swiss version of the European Union’s MiFID II, and PRIIPs (“Packed Retail Investment and Insurance-Based Products”) investor protection regimes.
So far, the platform covers 6.5 million instruments in over 30 million documents from more than 950 manufacturers.
“With regulatory pressure on Swiss banks constantly growing, the need for better access to correct and up-to-date key investor protection documents has never been greater,” Ralf Rühling, senior product manager, financial information, SIX, said.
SIX, which is owned by its users (122 banks), operates and develops infrastructure services in the securities and exchanges, banking services and financial information business units.
