The UK-based wealth manager has appointed Graeme Bowden to help boost its advisory market presence in Scotland.

Brewin Dolphin has hired Graeme Bowden from Seven Investment Management as business development manager in Edinburgh.

Bowden brings over 20 years’ industry experience, having most recently served as regional relationship manager at Seven Investment Management. Before this, he was wealth sales development manager at AEGON. 

“He will help us to further leverage the success of our agent proposition in Scotland,” said Jonathan Tweedie, head of the Edinburgh office at the firm.

“He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise which will complement our existing teams. This development is very much part of our commitment to expand our range of services within the advisory market,” he added.

Brewin Dolphin recently revealed its discretionary funds under management had dipped 2 per cent to £25.6 billion ($40.1 billion) in the quarter to the end of June amid weak global financial markets.
