Globaleye Confirms Partnership With Fortu Family In Moscow

Dubai head-quartered wealth manager Globaleye has confirmed it is partnering with Fortu Family in Moscow.

Dubai head-quartered wealth manager Globaleye has confirmed it is partnering with Fortu Family in Moscow.

The company is now in union with the multi-family office to provide ongoing support for its offshore products, chief executive Tim Searle told this publication by email following trade media press reports.

“I think the crisis in Crimea and the destabilisation of Putin is reminding investors, particularly Russians, that they need a safe haven for their money,” said Searle.

“Most people are thinking about how they can make sure their money is secure, so an increasing number of people are thinking of keeping it in a jurisdiction which is properly regulated and has more security than Moscow. Fortu has some offshore planning solutions but they weren’t getting the service they wanted, so we thought we could offer additional value by managing some of their assets,” he added.

The wealth management company also announced the opening of a new office in Zurich which serves to complement its existing office in Geneva which opened in 2012.
