Beatrice Weder di Mauro and Isabelle Romy are to be nominated for election to the board of the Zurich-based lender at the annual general meeting on 3 May 2012.

Baring Asset Management, the emerging markets-focused investment house, has appointed Enakshi Roy as an investment manager within its Latin American equities division in London.
Roy has a nine-year background in asset management and joins Barings from Hermes Fund Managers, where she was associate director of global emerging markets and part of a stock selection panel for the firm’s Global Emerging Markets Fund.

Japan’s Nikko Asset Management has appointed Geoffrey Post as head of international product development following the news of a joint venture agreement between Nikko and India-based Ambit Holdings.
The deal will add offices in Mumbai and Mauritius, bringing the group’s total number of offices to 20 across 11 countries including Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Mauritius, Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US.
