Close Brothers Asset Management is strengthening its research capacity with the appointment of a number of equity analysts.

Asset Management is strengthening its research capacity
with the appointment of a number of equity analysts.
This team will be led by Robert Alster, who was recently
appointed head of research. He previously worked at Alliance
Bernstein, where he managed the global industrials component of a
global growth fund and also led the analyst team.
Roohi Siddiqui has almost 15 years of research experience
and previously held senior analyst positions at Denny Ellison,
Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Schroder Investment Management and
Lehman Brothers.
Siddiqui will be supported by new hire Lorraine Grace, and
both will begin working with existing teams and holders on
consumer stocks.
Dominic Carver, previously of Julius Baer Portfolio Managers and
Principal Investment Management, joins as an equity analyst on
financial and healthcare stocks.
Mike Field will join the team and research the energy,
material and utility sectors and Charles Coldicott will
begin work on the telecoms, media and technology sectors.
