In the wake of the highly successful European and Asian awards, the publisher of WealthBriefing is delighted to announce the launch of its awards programme for Switzerland and Liechtenstein, to be held on 3 April 2014 in Geneva.

Hosted at the sumptuous setting of the Hotel President Wilson in the Swiss city, the awards will recognise the outstanding achievement and high standards of firms and individuals in the region’s wealth management industry.

The organisers of the event aim to keep the event to a brisk schedule so that formalities are not dragged out – a fact that will be appreciated by busy executives.

The selection and judging process started on 6 August and closes on 5 December, 2013. All firms will be told if they have been shortlisted by 14 January, 2014. Shortlisted entrants will be announced on this website – and its sister websites – and an extensive public relations campaign will also be carried out.

External organisations will take part in the process to ensure it is as objective and rigorous as possible; such groups include specialists in branding, marketing, information technology, investment management and philanthropy. Two judging panels will preside. A panel of trusted advisors will judge the private banking categories, while a second panel of private bankers will judge the trusted advisor categories. This process has been used to make sure that commercially sensitive information is kept confidential and to avoid conflicts of interest.

The wealth management industry in Switzerland and Liechtenstein faces many challenges and it has never been more important to recognise high-quality service and achievement. So we urge readers to suggest nominations and get involved.
