JP Morgan Names MD For Private Banking Division

JP Morgan has appointed Robert Kalff as managing director for its ultra high net worth private banking team in the UK, reporting to Olivier de Givenchy, head of the US firm's UK private bank.

Kalff joins from Deutsche Bank in London, where he was head of the private wealth management and corporate finance partnership team.

Before this, he worked at Credit Suisse, where he was head of the client advisory group for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He started his career at UBS, where he held a number of roles in London, Zurich and New York.

In his new London-based role, Kalff will cultivate relationships with clients in the UK, focusing on family offices, entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses.

In other recent hires for the firm, at the start of this month JP Morgan Private Bank appointed Tracy Maeter to the newly-created role of head of investments for private clients in the UK, recruiting her from RBC Wealth Management.
