HSBC Private Bank said yesterday it has appointed Simon Gamse, Jonathan Reed, and Paul Avant as the new associate directors to its high net worth team.

Gamse has more than 28 years of experience in the industry with firms such as Phillips & Drew, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining HSBC, he worked at Barclays Wealth and more recently in the London operations of an overseas bank.

After recently being appointed to the private clients team in Jersey, Avant returns to London to join the high net worth team. Avant has over ten years of experience with firms such as Barclays Wealth and Schroders.

Reed spent four years working for Seven Investment Management and prior to that worked at Brown Shipley.
