Private Banking Software Provider Opens Centre In Glasgow

Odyssey Financial Technologies, the Lausanne-headquartered global private banking software provider, has opened a new centre in Glasgow.

The new centre is dedicated to Odyssey’s private wealth management products, Triple’A Plus and WealthManager, the firm said in a statement.

The Glasgow office is the firm's fourth development centre, adding to its offices in London, Lausanne and Toronto. The Glasgow team, which will have a headcount of 20 software developers and testers by next month, will analyse the products to leverage their strengths and functionality, the statement continued.

The centre’s first development projects will look into improving automatic testing procedures and increase Odyssey’s technological competence by porting its products to new platforms.

Opening this office marks a significant step in the firm’s expansion, Greg Conley, Odyssey Financial Technologies’ chief executive said.

“It will allow us to optimise the amount of high quality development resources, decrease our time to market for product improvements and further improve the competitive positioning of Odyssey,” he said.

The firm said it chose Glasgow as the location for the new centre due to the strength of Scotland's financial services community and skilled workforce.
