Deutsche Makes Senior Hire In Fiduciary Services Division
Deutsche Bank has appointed Elizabeth Dorsch as chief operating officer for its fiduciary services division.
In her new Guernsey-based role, Ms Dorsch will be responsible for ensuring that the firm’s global trust business, which is headquartered in the island, operates efficiently on a day-to-day basis, Deutsche said in a statement. Ms Dorsch will work alongside Brian Conway, head of the fiduciary services division, and Paul Shevlin, chief operating officer of the Channel Islands.
Ms Dorsch joined the firm from the Royal Bank of Canada, where she spent 22 years and was most recently managing director for the Bahamas.
“With her unrivalled level of experience and expertise within the offshore and trust industries, Elizabeth will be extremely valuable as we look to continue to grow the business from Guernsey over the coming months and years,” said Mr Conway.
In other recent developments, earlier this month Deutsche Bank opened its first branch in Abu Dhabi, in a bid to further strengthen economic ties between the United Arab Emirates and Germany.
