James Peterson is rejoining UBS in the UK as a senior client advisor within its ultra high net worth division, WealthBriefing can exclusively report, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Mr Peterson was most recently a partner at MaxCap, a multi-family office, where he focused on developing efficient investment structures, sourcing new investment opportunities and managing client relationships.

Previously he worked at UBS Wealth Management, working in transaction products and sales management and as a client advisor to key clients. He left the Swiss firm in 2008.

In his new position, Mr Peterson reports to Chris Houlding, who is head of key clients and UHNW.
