John Straus, the former head of the US private wealth management and private banking divisions of JP Morgan, has been appointed to the board of Boston Private Financial. From 2000 to 2005, Mr Straus was head of JP Morgan US private bank and was responsible for $1.1 billion in revenue, $200 billion in assets under supervision, and a $14 billion loan portfolio, according to statement from Boston Private.
