EXCLUSIVE: Senior Wealth Managers In London Leave North America Bank

Two senior private bankers in London working with clients from countries such as the US have left.

A luminary of the UK’s wealth management industry, Martin Heale, has left RBC Wealth Management along with senior colleague Janette Saxer, this publication can report.

RBC declined to comment.

Heale, who is now on gardening leave, was managing director, relationship management at the Canada-headquartered firm, and part of a London-based team of SEC-licenced client advisors serving US, select Latin American and Caribbean clients. Heale joined the bank in 2011 and previously had worked in a number of senior roles at Kleinwort Benson, most recently, as MD for UK and head of private wealth management. From 1992 to 2005 he worked at Barclays Private Bank.

Saxer was a director, wealth management, and had been at RBC Wealth Management from 2002. Like Heale, she specialised in serving US and Caribbean clients via London.

The future career plans of Heale and Saxer are not known at this stage; this publication will update in due course.

RBC Americas, London received the award in 2013 for the best UK Private Bank International Clients Team in the WealthBriefing European Awards, produced by the publisher of this news service.
