Change At The Helm Of Brewin Dolphin's Jersey Office

The former head of the St Helier office in Jersey was in charge for 18 years.

UK wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has appointed Mark Miles as head of its St Helier office in Jersey.

Miles will replace Stuart Sangan, who is retiring after leading the Jersey office for 18 years, the firm said in a statement.

In his new role, Miles will be responsible for the overall profitability and success of the office.

He joined Brewin Dolphin as a divisional director in 1995. He is predominately involved in discretionary aspects of the business, which includes running bespoke asset managed portfolios for private clients, trusts and institutions.

“I’m delighted to appoint Mark as head of office for Jersey,” said Hal Catherwood, regional director. “He is an experienced and dedicated investment manager, who has enjoyed a long, successful career with Brewin Dolphin. We very much look forward to continuing to work with Mark to build on the success of the Jersey office."

This appointment follows the hire of former Barclays Wealth private banker Godfrey Cromwell as a divisional director within its London office in January.
