The UK-based wealth advisory firm is building up its private investment consultancy arm.

RiverPeak Wealth has hired Ben Elwes as a senior consultant to further develop its recently launched private investment consultancy service.

Elwes joins from GIC Private, where he was senior vice president and a portfolio manager for European equities. Previously, he was founder and director of ABS Partners, a stockbroker of Spanish and Portuguese equities. He has also worked at Henderson Global Investors and Friends Provident Asset Management. 

In the new role, Elwes will be based in the firm's office in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. The private investment consultancy service provides oversight and analysis to investment portfolios.

“His experience and understanding of portfolio construction and management, as well as the monitoring of clients’ investment portfolios will be invaluable,” said Nick Parker, the firm’s founder and managing director. 

“It will mean that those individuals, families, charities and trusts seeking independent help to understand their investments will be very well served.”

Launched in late 2013, RiverPeak Wealth provides portfolio management, investment analysis, consultancy, pension and financial planning advice.
