Kames Adds Multi-Asset Specialist

The UK investment manager has made another addition to its team in Scotland.
Kames Capital has hired Graeme Sharpe as a product specialist within its multi-asset team.
Sharpe joins from pensions and benefits consultancy Hymans Robertson, where he spent five years as associate investment consultant.
Based in Kames' Edinburgh office, Sharpe will work with the company’s fund managers, institutional and wholesale sales teams as well as client services. He joins after the recent launch of the Kames Global Diversified Income Fund in April and the Kames Global Diversified Growth Fund earlier this month.
“Graeme’s experience and strong communication skills will allow us to continue to fully articulate our credentials in multi-asset as we reach a much wider client base. His appointment will also support the new fund activities both in the UK and across Continental Europe,” said Stephen Jones, chief investment officer at Kames Capital.
Also this week, Kames hired Rory Sandilands as investment manager within its fixed income team.
From Edinburgh and London, Kames managed £57.8 billion ($81.8 billion) on behalf of clients including financial institutions, wealth managers, family offices and financial advisors as at the end of March 2016.
