Hargreave Hale Hires Investment Manager

The UK investment firm has made another addition to its team in the West Midlands.
Hargreave Hale has hired Karen Smith as an investment manager at its Worcester office.
Smith joins from EFG Harris Allday where she was investment director. She brings over 10 years of investment management experience, having started her career in Brewin Dolphin’s Edinburgh office in 2000.
The newly-created role follows a string of recent hires for Hargreave’s Worcester office, including James Holroyd and Simon Raggett, also from EFG Harris Allday, as well as Gareth Evans and Matt Cyphus from Brewin Dolphin.
“Karen is another welcome addition to our team who will help take us forward as we continue to develop our investment proposition in the region,” said Mike Davies, branch manager at Hargreave Hale Worcester.
Hargreave Hale, which has nine offices across the UK, manages over £5 billion ($7 billion) in assets. The firm provides discretionary investment management and stockbroking services to private clients, intermediaries, corporates, charities and trusts.
