Former Schroders PB Chief Takes Up New Role At UK's Gresham

London-listed asset manager Gresham House has appointed Rupert Robinson, who has been a member of that firm’s investment advisory committee since last October, as managing director of Gresham House Asset Management. 

Among previous roles, Robinson was chief executive and head of investment management at Schroders Private Bank, working at that firm from 2002 to 2013. He started his career at NM Rothschild, and was latterly head of wealth nanagement and a member of the group executive committee at Rothschild Asset Management.

In early November last year, shareholders in the Gresham House investment trust agreed to convert the business into a fund group. The move was backed by persons including SVG founder Tony Dalwood (now Gresham’s CEO), iimia and Christows founder Michael Phillips, and Robinson.
