Neptune Investment Management Hires From M&G For Switzerland Leadership Role

The London-based asset management company has appointed Valentine Bugeja to spearhead its Swiss business.

The UK’s Neptune Investment Management has hired M&G's Valentine Bugeja as head of Switzerland.

Bugeja, who joins from her position as sales manager at M&G Investments, will take on the newly-created role to lead Neptune’s growth in Switzerland. Based in Geneva, she will report to the company's head of distribution, Charlie Parker.

“Valentine is an individual who has come through the ranks at M&G and proven herself able to forge valuable client relationships with great professionalism. We believe she has the right drive and enthusiasm to build a significant Swiss business for us and are delighted to welcome her to Neptune,” said Parker.

“Switzerland has weathered some storms in recent years and is also experiencing significant regulatory change. However, it remains home to a third of the world’s wealth and we believe clear winners are emerging from the changes the market is experiencing,” he added.

Speaking about the future, Parker added: “We also believe it is a market that has an ever increasing need for open-architecture fund solutions. This is driven by ever-more demanding clients in the wake of new bank transparency rules.”

The most recent addition follows last month's hire of Joshua Ausden as head of client investment strategy in London.
