The Saga and Tilney Bestinvest tie-up has announced its managing director.

The UK's Saga Investment Services, the new joint venture by Saga and Tilney Bestinvest, has appointed Nicola Audhlam-Gardiner as its managing director.

Audhlam-Gardiner will join in August from her current position as marketing director at Williams & Glyn. She was previously products and marketing director for the corporate bank of RBS.

Saga Investment Services, which will become operational towards the end of this year, will provide financial planning and investments to the UK's over-50s market.
