Asset Control Unveils New Technology For Data Managers

Asset Control, a provider of financial data management systems, has launched Data Service Manager, a new software for its enterprise data management platform.

Asset Control has launched new software to offer financial institutions greater transparency and operational control.

The new technology, called Data Service Manager, forms part of the company's enterprise data management platform, AC Plus. It offers real-time visualisation of complex data supply chains, and comes with a mobile application providing remote supervision of operational activity.

The software also offers a data infrastructure to help data and risk managers fulfil regulatory requirements.

“It is not only the regulatory environment that has changed fundamentally, but also the way financial institutions have to operate and interact. A single transparent source of all information, with visibility of processes, their interactions and seamless audit trails will go a long way towards realising the objectives of this new compliance landscape,” said Asset Control's chief executive, Richard Petti.

“We are therefore excited to launch Data Service Manager, designed as the first step in this process, enabling firms to stay ahead of the game.”

With insights into flows and quality controls on information, Data Service Manager enables firms to detect quality issues and inefficiencies at an early stage.

“Data Service Manager will empower data management teams to efficiently meet their SLAs [service-level agreements] and help them keep up with the ever-evolving regulatory landscape,” said Asset Control's senior product manager, Boyke Baboelal.
