UK's Walker Crips Adds To Northern England Team

UK-listed Walker Crips added to its teams in York.

Walker Crips, the investment and wealth management group, has appointed Katie Machin, a chartered financial planner, to its York office in the UK.

Machin has more than 11 years’ experience of advising clients on protection, pensions, investments and inheritance tax planning. She was previously a financial advisor at NFU Mutual for around eight years.

Walker Crips Wealth Management in York is expanding its team and says a recent widening of the Individual Savings Account investment allowance, and sweeping reforms of UK pensions and associated inheritance rules, will boost demand for its advisory service.

Walkers Crips is listed on the London Stock Exchange and its history dates back as far as the 18th Century.
