Pershing Adds New Tranche of Funds to Nexus

Bank of New York Mellon subsidiary Pershing has added Baring Asset Management, Henderson Global Investors, Neptune Investment Management, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and T. Bailey's mutual funds to its Nexus Funds offering, which is fully integrated with its Nexus platform. The platform aims to provide private client wealth managers, life companies, building societies and independent financial advisors with a single access point to buy and sell a variety of global funds in addition to all major financial instruments including equities, fixed income and foreign exchange. Charles van der Merwe, chief executive of Pershing, said: "We are seeing increased momentum in the number of funds joining our Nexus Funds solution. The addition of these premier fund companies to Pershing's mutual fund solution demonstrates our continued commitment to providing clients with a cost-effective way to access a diverse range of funds from high calibre financial institutions." Earlier this month Pershing added Aberdeen Asset Management, M&G Investments, Martin Currie and SVM Asset Management's mutual funds to Nexus Funds. Established in London in 1987, Pershing and its subsidiary, Pershing Securities, are members of the London Stock Exchange and Euroclear UK & Ireland.
